Springhouse Cellar Winery has designed an awesome PoCard that features their super cool refillable glass wine containers. This is perfect for all of us who love great wine and are happy not to contribute to a growing pile of wine bottles in our recycling bins. Springhouse Cellar has, in my opinion, one of the top outdoor event spaces in the Gorge: The Ruins. Nights spent at The Ruins dancing to wonderful music under the open air and lights can be magical. Springhouse is located at the east end of the parking lot for the Mt.Hood Railroad. It’s a very nice and cozy place to get a glass of wine.
Wow! What a spectacular view of the Gorge on this lovely Doppio Coffee + Lounge PoCard. Just looking at it makes me feel lucky to live here. Doppio Coffee + Lounge is an equally special business in the heart of downtown Hood River. Owner Michael Barthmus designed Doppio to be a hub of the community with strong influence of the community-oriented culture of coffeehouses that he is intimately familiar with in Europe. Doppio is driven by a strong belief in providing excellent customer service and by strongly supporting local business.
Doppio offers coffee, teas, chai, smoothies, and a full menu of salads, sandwiches, paninis, baked goods, breakfast fare, and desserts. The physical space of Doppio is a joy to be in, with warm indoor and outdoor seating facing a delightful courtyard.
The latest PoCard is this whimsical Warhol-esque gem for Hood River Bagel Company. I love to stop in and get a freshly made Asiago Bagel with cream cheese and fresh tomatoes. Yum! In addition to a large selection of fresh bagels, spreads, and sandwiches, Hood River Bagel offers a terrific play area for the kids, fun magazines to read, a large selection of drinks including locally roasted organic coffee. Take the family down and get some great food!
